Hamud Law

Hamudlaw is a professional law firm that provides legal advice and representation for employment law, labour law and human rights law matters. Billeh A. Hamud is a Labour, Employment and Human Rights Lawyer with experience representing clients in both the public and private sectors. Prior to establishing Hamudlaw, Billeh worked with a prominent union-side labour law firm and also practiced law with the two large trade unions in Ontario. As a result, he has considerable labour and employment law experience representing clients in both unionized and non-unionized workplaces. Billeh is a licensed Toronto Lawyer who is Called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree with High Distinction, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. Billeh is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. In his spare time, Billeh enjoys biking, travelling, swimming and anything science fiction related. He also volunteers on the Board of Directors of the Centre for Equality Rights in Accommodation (CERA). CERA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing advocacy and education about housing discrimination in Ontario. Hamudlaw provides legal services to cities in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) including Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Woodbridge, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Milton, Newmarket, Markham, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, and other parts of Halton, Peel, York and Durham regions.
