Journey Together Matrimonial Services

Journey together is a non-profit Muslim organization created for the purpose of connecting Muslim singles for marriage. In today’s society, with work demands and other commitments keeping us busy, many young Muslims may find it a challenge to find that someone special that we feel the most at ease with or who shares our interests and religious beliefs. Ideally, we should be looking for a life partner who we can learn to love, trust and respect - someone that we see as a lifelong friend who will strengthen our faith and provide companionship. To enable young Muslims to meet like-minded individuals, there is a strong need for the organization of events that facilitate the intermingling of single Muslims. Presently, there are such events that take place in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). However, after speaking with many individuals in the Muslim community, the feedback that we received strongly suggests that there is a great need for more. Journey together is a non-profit Muslim organization created for the purpose of achieving the following goals: 1. To provide information to people who are looking to be in a relationship 2. To provide information people who are in a relationship 3. To hold matrimonial events for the community To achieve the above goals, we have developed this Facebook group in order to share information with both married and single individuals that will assist them in their current and future relationships, insha’Allah. By working in partnership with Masjids and Islamic institutions around the GTA, our goal is to organize well-planned events that will enable single Muslims to interact with each other in a comfortable Islamic environment. We all want to find a life partner to complete our ‘Deen’ but it is important to realize that marriage is not always our end goal in life. Our main purpose is to serve Allah and his people and marriage if done in the right way can very well provide the best means to our end. As someone wise once said, “We are put on this Earth not to see through each other, but to see each other through.” May Allah SWT make it easy for all of us to find our other half and help guide us in a path that is pleasing to him.
