Nawaz Law Office

Samir Nawaz is the principal lawyer at Nawaz Law Office, and his practice focus is currently on wrongful dismissal and civil litigation. Prior to establishing the firm, Samir gained several years of experience in the fields of access to information, policy analysis and legal analysis while simultaneously completing his LL.M. at the University of Ottawa. In addition, to an LL.M., Samir has also attained an LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School, and two Bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. Before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2009, Samir articled with a firm in Ottawa’s west end which specialized in family law, real estate law and civil litigation. This opportunity not only afforded Samir the ability to apply his theoretical knowledge into real world practice, but made him appreciate first hand the injustices that can transpire in the day-to-day lives of Canadians, particularly in the workplace. Samir’s passion is helping the disadvantaged in their quest to attain justice and relishes the opportunity to make a positive change in the lives of his clients, his family and his community as a whole.
