Ontario Afghan Family and Senior Sevices Association (OAFSSA)

We initially opened our doors in 2006 as the Afghan Canadian Senior Centre but we, as an organization, felt our efforts would better serve the needs of the community by involving our members' families. As such, the Ontario Afghan Family Seniors Services Association (OAFSSA) now caters programs targeting the Afghan Canadian community in its entirety. As part of our mandate, we continue to provide valuable services benefitting our members and will now also focus on developing new opportunities for future generations. Our aim is to cultivate a united community living in harmony in a diverse society. We target direct issues affecting Afghans today through education, support services, and community outreach.
