Run for Palestine

Run for Palestine is a registered not-for-profit athletic organization founded in 2009 and based in Toronto. It has now successfully expanded to Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg & London, Ontario. Our goal is to raise money for  (CRA-approved) charities operating in Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps in the Middle East. Furthermore, we aim to raise awareness regarding issues surrounding Palestinians. Finally, we hope to promote an active and healthy lifestyle. Run for Palestine has raised over $500,000 for various projects in the West Bank, Gaza, and the camps in Beirut, Lebanon. 

Why do Participants join?

Participants join Run for Palestine for three main reasons:

1. To raise money for needed projects on the ground in Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps 
2. To bring awareness and stand in solidarity with Palestinians
3. To compete in a 5 Km run, with the goal to place in the top three

How can you help?

A- Become a sponsor Run for Palestine is looking for corporate and personal sponsors to help cover the cost of hosting our runs. With your help, we can host successful runs and expand across Canada. The more sponsors we receive means less of our ticket sales will go towards the cost of hosting runs and more of it can be donated to our projects. This results in more Palestinians having a brighter, healthier, and more successful future. This year, with your help, we aim to raise over $160,000 to help more Palestinians in need. B- Attend as a vendor Your business can set up a booth at the event and directly connect with customers and sell goods. We want to promote our local community entrepreneurs and expand our connection with different businesses.

C- Contribute as a donor You can make a monetary donation directly to the CRA-approved charity campaign that we are running. Alternatively, you can donate in-kind such as a service or items of your choice that we can use for a raffle ticket prize and or give to the winners of the run
