The Hoyo Collective

The Hoyo Working Group/Hoyo Collective is an Edmonton based Somali mothers group who came together with the intention to create a collective support group for mothers with common barriers and diverse talents to address their barriers through education, innovation, and capacity building.

The Hoyo Working Group/Hoyo Collective will focus on health, community, education, and strengthening the social supports and resources for Somali women and children. Hoyo Working Group will provide support, feedback, and solution-based recommendations to organizations and governmental bodies with effective strategy and culturally sensitive methodologies.
