Help the Legal Centre for Palestine Fight Anti-Palestinian Racism in Canada in 2027

This year, Canada has criminalized new symbols and expanded police powers to lay charges, signalled a government-wide policy defining anti-Zionism as antisemitism, and applied terrorism charges based on speech alone. Palestinians and those who stand with them are being pushed out of Canadian public life, and we won’t let it stand.

Here is how the Centre is responding:

• Coordinating a network of 280+ lawyers to match Palestinians and advocates with timely free or low-cost legal services.

• Hiring legal staff and building legal challenges to policies and actors that silence our community.

• Pressing the Canadian government in court for accountability over its inaction in the Gaza genocide.

• Offering Public Legal Education on the changing legal landscape.

But our capacity to deliver depends on community support from people like you. Donations have fallen this year, and we have a gap to fill to keep the Centre sustainable.
